Whalers Rest is a year-round RV campground on the Oregon coast, located just 150 yards from the Pacific Ocean near South Beach. The resort features 164 sites and offers beach activities including salt-water swimming, scuba diving, surfing, whale watching, and fishing. An indoor pool and spa provide alternatives during inclement weather. On-site recreation includes billiards, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, mini golf, bike trails, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball, and a dog park. The campground has a clubhouse, fitness center, picnic and BBQ areas, and nature trails. An activities director oversees planned programs, live entertainment, arts and crafts, children's activities, and bingo. Local attractions include Chinook Winds Casino and Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum.
