About this venue
The Kesselhaus occupies a former boiler room of a historic cotton mill, now carefully renovated as an urban event venue. Its striking industrial character is defined by an iconic boiler that anchors the main space, combined with contemporary interior design and modern lighting and sound systems. The main hall spans 368.8 square metres with flexible room layouts, and features daylight that can be darkened, heating and ventilation, wheelchair access, a counter, cloakroom, and a bar. Catering and technical services can be arranged with external partners. Adjacent to the main hall, the Rosengarten—a garden framed by sculptural membrane-roof pavilions—provides weather-protected outdoor space for events. The entire venue sits on the grounds of the former mill between Munich and Chiemsee, with views toward the Alps and positioned along the scenic Mangfall canal.
