The property provides rooms, cabins, and multi-room vacation homes, all smoke-free with private entrances, private baths, air-conditioning, refrigerators, and coffee makers. Guests can relax in an outdoor hot tub or gather around a fire-pit by the river. The location serves as a base for year-round activities: winter cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and hot air balloon rallies; summer offers access to the Cumbres Toltec steam train, horseback riding, fishing, camping, and nearby wildlife reserves. The lodge has been operating since 1989 with 24/7 onsite management and maintenance.
