Block's Post is a heritage-protected building in Krün, partly 500 years old, fully restored and renovated. The historic character has been preserved through exposed stonework integrated into the interior design, and the original beer hall with wooden ceiling and oak flooring has been reinstated. Food and drink are tailored to the house—original, traditional, and thoughtfully composed. Chef Josef Block senior, a trained cook, prepares dishes with care and professionalism using only regional and seasonal products. A daily-changing menu features forgotten dishes revived through traditional techniques, without convenience products or superfluous decoration. Josef Block junior and his team attend to guests in the dining room.
