Ventozelo retains the character of a Douro farmhouse, transformed for guests without losing its welcoming roots. The estate’s buildings have been restored with their original structures in mind, while simple, spacious modern architecture complements them. The restaurant occupies the former dining space for farmworkers, and its menu changes with what the seasons bring, using locally grown and made ingredients. Tastings, circuits and nature-focused activities take place throughout the year. At the Centro Interpretativo, sensory and playful activities introduce the landscape, history and heritage of Quinta de Ventozelo and the Douro region.
