Tinakilly Country House is a Victorian country-house hotel for offsites that pair meeting time with a coastal setting. Set among woodland between Rathnew and Wicklow Town, it looks out over the Irish Sea and is approached along an oak-lined avenue. The house’s double-height entrance hall, marble fireplace and grand staircase establish its period character. Outside, paths lead through the woodland, a rose garden and a walled herb garden, while the lawn terraces are used for boules and croquet. Meetings and functions can take place in the Great Eastern Pavilion, the Halpin, Asgard and Mizen suites, or the conference rooms. The Green Room Restaurant serves modern and traditional dishes, using local ingredients where possible and herbs and seasonal vegetables from the grounds. There is also a Pilates studio, and Dublin is about 40 minutes away by the coast road.
