Pousada Palácio Estoi is a restored palace hotel for a stay shaped by historic rooms, formal gardens and the Algarve countryside. The palace’s original features remain alongside Neoclassical, Neo-rococó and Art Nouveau details. Its former chapel now houses reception, while the old reception rooms have become a museum on the region’s history, created with the Faro Municipal Museum. Meetings and events can take place in restored palace halls, the São José chapel, the gardens or the old stables; the garden meadow is another setting for outdoor gatherings. Visconde restaurant occupies the palace’s former kitchen, where original tiles, sinks and the old stove remain, and its terrace looks out across the Algarve countryside.
