Arrival is through the gates of a family-held monastery, in the same family since 1775 and now cared for by its tenth generation. Guests can gather among old trees and fountains in the gardens before moving into the sixteenth-century cloister or the adjoining historic halls. The former refectory of the Augustinian canons retains an eighteenth-century carved ceiling and traces of contemporary tiles. The cloister can be left open or covered, and the spaces accommodate conferences, book presentations and shared meals. Beside the monastery stands a Romanesque parish church, restored in 2007. At the end of the event, guests leave through gardens also used for ceremonies and themed visits.
