Hotel Real d’Óbidos has flexible rooms for meetings and events within a historic residence that forms part of Óbidos Castle and is protected as a national monument. The building dates to the fourteenth century and once housed noble families; traces of its past appear in the public areas, while guest rooms take their names from monarchs connected with the town. Each room has its own decor, and those in the older wing differ in layout and furnishings too. Buffet breakfast is served in Salão Real. A sitting room with a fireplace and an honesty bar provide indoor places to pause, while outside there is a garden, a terrace and a saltwater pool overlooking Óbidos’ walls.
