A stay begins with arrival at Quinta de Sanguinhedo, among the vineyards, and ends with the estate’s wine-growing landscape still in view. In between, guests can explore Vinhos Verdes through a tasting, picnic among the vines or bicycle ride around the property. Equipped rooms for meetings, conferences and seminars come with audiovisual and computer equipment, and catering can be arranged. At Restaurante Monverde, Chef Carlos Silva’s signature dishes draw on local cooking and are paired with wines made by Quinta da Lixa. For a group meal, Adega dos Tonéis has a granite-inspired interior, old wine barrels and broad arches opening onto the outdoors.
