Arriving in the rural Beira Alta, guests check into a seventeenth-century convent now set among gardens and small lakes. Traditionally decorated rooms look onto the former convent gardens, with some also overlooking the lakes. The old chapel has become a restaurant serving regional dishes and wines from Dão and Douro. For company gatherings, the hotel has a meeting room and a traditional hall, with catering prepared in its own kitchen. After the sessions, guests can spend time in the gardens, visit the bar or use the pool; departure leaves the historic convent setting behind.
