Cinema-Teatro Joaquim d'Almeida brings together film, music, children's events and creative workshops. Its spaces include a main hall, foyer, an education-service room, and a cafeteria that also serves as an exhibition space. The programme ranges from film screenings to concerts and activities for children. At Luzes, Câmera…Imaginação!, young participants explore the theatre's backstage and make their own camera from paper and colour. The cafeteria and exhibition space add a place for gathering and cultural activity beyond the main hall.
