Groups stay in a cluster of stone cottages set around a natural swimming pool, on an eight-hectare farm with animals. Each cottage has a kitchenette for preparing meals, while shared facilities include a barbecue area and a wood-fired oven. A basket of breakfast provisions is ready on arrival, and fresh bread is delivered daily. The grounds bring together old trees, granite outcrops, a traditional vegetable garden, a children’s play area and an outdoor fireplace. Free bicycles are available, and meals from a nearby restaurant can be arranged in advance. In the village of Travancinha, the farm is twelve kilometres from Seia and Oliveira do Hospital, with the Serra da Estrela within reach for day trips.
