Centro Cultural de Belém brings corporate gatherings into the orbit of an active cultural programme. In western Lisbon, beside the Tagus, its setting is shaped by the nearby Jerónimos Monastery, with Belém Tower close by. The conference and meeting centre has auditoriums, conference rooms and foyers for corporate, institutional, scientific, commercial and social events. Concerts, theatre, dance, opera and exhibitions run through the programme, giving the venue an artistic life beyond the event spaces. The complex was conceived as a small part of the city, shaped by its geography and its relationship with the river.
