The Granary hosts private and corporate events, with indoor and outdoor seating and floor-to-ceiling windows looking across the Cavan countryside. The castle’s Ballroom is another event space. Cabra Castle is now a hotel in a castellated Gothic Revival country house built around an earlier house. Parkland and gardens surround it, with a rose garden, terrace and patio among the grounds. Walking trails run through nearby Dún a Rí Forest Park. The Courtroom serves Irish cuisine made with locally sourced, seasonal produce, while The Derby Bar pairs drinks with a light dining menu. The hotel stands on Carrickmacross Road outside Kingscourt, and its website lists public transport routes and directions.
