Arriving at Benners Hotel on Castle Street puts guests in Tralee’s commercial centre. The train and bus stations, shops and local attractions are about a five-minute walk away, while Kerry Airport is 15 km from the hotel for the onward journey. The hotel stands on a site where three separate hotels operated in the late nineteenth century before being combined into the present one. There is a café, an on-site restaurant and a gastro pub serving local produce. The Courtyard Bar has entertainment and alfresco dining; the courtyard and bar are also used for gatherings and celebrations, with catering available, and a terrace provides another place to pause before departure.
