The establishment of the independent restaurant Slamená búda dates back to 1908, when my great-grandparents THERESIA and MATHIAS AMMER purchased an old non-functional forester's lodge with a straw roof from the Bratislava forests due to Mr. AMMER's asthmatic condition.
Gradually, they transformed it into a renowned inn, which became known to PRESBURG dwellers (Bratislava residents).
In 1939, the inn was handed over to their daughter THERESIA and her husband HEINRICH LAMPRECHT, who, although not for long, continued the tradition. They survived World War II, and after its end, they renovated and improved its operation, which they continued to enhance.
Then came 1945 and Slamená búda fell into the hands of the authorities of that time for as long as 43 years, who profited from its good reputation all that time.
Then came 1989, November, our Velvet Revolution, and after a few months, more precisely in May 1991, Slamená búda returned to the hands of the LAMPRECHT family.
Although severely devastated, after less than four years it passed into the hands of myself, my wife and our two sons.
From that moment on, we have strived to continue the tradition set by my great-grandparents and grandparents.
It was not easy, but we managed so well that in 2003 we decided to build an accommodation section and rename the establishment to ACCOMMODATION INN SLAMENÁ BÚDA.
In April 2008, we managed to complete the construction work, launch trial operations and enjoy our first customers.
ACCOMMODATION INN SLAMENÁ BÚDA is situated on Bratislava's Koliba, 4 km from the center of Bratislava.
At the same time, it is located in a quiet place where you can enjoy long walks, horseback riding, bobsled rides and sledging, or skiing in winter. Or just sit in a pleasant forest environment, or refresh yourself in forest snack bars.
Accept our invitation to visit us. In a quiet environment you can spend pleasant moments of peace with delicious food and drinks, a unique atmosphere either on the summer terrace or in a nice pleasant restaurant.
It is suitable for families with children, corporate events, various training courses, as well as grand celebrations with complete arrangements and special gastronomic offers (roasted pork, game, goose, duck,…)
We offer dishes of domestic and foreign cuisine, prepared by a team of chefs at a high level.
