The hotel building was constructed in the 19th century in the Neo-Renaissance style and is located in the Prague cultural heritage reserve, in Malá Strana, which became part of the UNESCO World Heritage in 1993. Malá Strana is a quiet and peaceful district, home to many government offices and foreign embassies. In 2007-2008, an extensive reconstruction of the entire building took place, the building was converted into a luxury hotel, and on September 1st, the operation of the 5* Royal Palace hotel was ceremoniously launched.
