Real Marina Residence sits opposite Olhão Marina, beside the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Boats leave from the marina for the islands and the lagoon’s quiet beaches, while Faro is a fifteen-minute drive away according to the website. Instead of hotel rooms, guests stay in apartments with kitchens, living rooms and balconies overlooking the sea, giving a group room to keep its own routine. Pets are welcome, and residents have access to an outdoor pool on the rooftop of each building, with views across Olhão and Ria Formosa. Restaurants and bars at the nearby Real Marina Hotel & Spa provide an alternative to cooking in the apartment. Outdoor parking is available beside the residence.
