Quinta da Bellavista occupies a hillside in Caparica, between the mouth of the Tagus and the Atlantic. Its gardens and terrace beside the main house look across the river estuary and coastline, with Lisbon and the Sintra hills in view; the terrace is also used for reception cocktails. The eighteenth-century main building has been renovated, retaining historic details alongside contemporary materials. A transparent event tent contains a swimming pool, dance floor and lounge, and can be partly opened. There are separate settings for civil and religious ceremonies, as well as a helipad on the grounds. The estate is about fifteen minutes from Lisbon, with ramps and adapted bathrooms for guests with reduced mobility.
