Meetings take place in an old mountain sanatorium, with the main structure restored by architect Souto Moura. Pousada Serra da Estrela stands within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park near Covilhã, looking out across snow-covered slopes or green mountain scenery. The restaurant’s vaulted windows frame the views, while its menu gives traditional mountain dishes a modern approach; a bar sits alongside. Between sessions, groups can use the heated indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath, or the outdoor pool beside the gardens in summer. A games room has table football and snooker.
