This historic pousada occupies a twelfth-century Augustinian monastery, giving a company stay a strong sense of place. The grounds look out over Guimarães, whose historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site. For meetings, the Business Center has rooms accessed privately, away from other guests. Dona Mafalda serves typical Portuguese cooking in the monastery’s former cellars, while the bar occupies the old kitchen, with a fireplace at its heart. The monastery grounds combine architectural features and a botanical trail; in summer, an outdoor pool opens beside the site of the old mill.
