Waldgasthof Zum Baodwirt is a small family-run inn surrounded by scenic woodland directly on the Inn river. The Schweinsteiger family has managed the property for three generations. Located near Rosenheim on the Inntal cycle route, the pension sits within natural woodland and offers a quiet retreat. The restaurant serves regional cuisine featuring fresh fish from Simmsee and local waters. From May through September, grilled evenings take place every Thursday and Saturday from 6 p.m., with offerings including grilled fish, ribs, meat, potatoes, and salads. The restaurant operates continuously with warm food served until 2 p.m. on weekends and from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are required on Sundays and public holidays.
