Naturfreundehaus Knofeleben, formerly known as Friedrich-Hallerhaus, is situated on the southern slope of Schneeberg at an altitude of 1250 meters. The building features modern architecture that is both cozy and inviting. Accommodation includes comfortable rooms offering views of the surrounding landscape, as well as two separate dining areas that can be connected to host more than 100 visitors. Access routes to the venue vary in length and difficulty, suitable for different levels of hikers. The house is open from Wednesday to Sunday, offering rooms and dormitories, and serves as a tranquil retreat surrounded by nature.
