Vila Galé Albacora is an eco-hotel in a former fishing settlement, suited to offsites that pair meeting time with the landscape and history of Ria Formosa Natural Park. The old Arraial Ferreira Neto housed families involved in tuna fishing; its former bakery is now a public museum displaying a model of the almadrava fishing system and historical documents. Meeting spaces include Arade, Gilão, Master and Museu, while the preserved chapel is also used for weddings and baptisms. At Restaurante 'Salinas', meals feature tuna and Algarve specialities, with buffet and à la carte service; Bar 'Fidelio' is a place to gather later in the day. Birdwatching and boat trips bring the lagoon into the programme, and a boat to Tavira Island departs from the hotel’s own pier.
