Hotel Rural Vale do Rio is a rural eco-hotel by the Caima River, suited to company stays that make room for time in nature. Its story began with a small hydroelectric plant dating from the late nineteenth century; restored, it became part of a project built around renewable energy. Meetings and events take place at Quinta do Caima, with a naturally lit, air-conditioned conference room, audiovisual equipment, sound system and exhibition space. The Hídrica do Caima restaurant looks out over the river that gives it its name, while Four Elements spa has massages and treatments. Guest rooms face the Caima and its banks.
