The building housing the hotel represents a significant chapter in the city's history: it was built in 1892 according to the design of architect Friedrich Ohmann as a residential building; it was only at the end of the 1990s that it was reconstructed for accommodation and gastronomic purposes. Its original name "U tří bílých beránků" is still displayed on the facade as a reminder of the time when building names were used like street names and house numbers are today.
