Hotel de Cerva sits among the mountains around Cerva, in the Trás-os-Montes landscape. Walking routes pass through valleys and areas shaped by local traditions and mining history. The PR3 trail in the Vale do Póio follows the area’s natural and cultural heritage, while PR4 takes in the artisans’ cooperative in Cerva and the Linen Museum in Limões. The longer GR1 route traces the district’s wolfram-mining past, with a miners’ memorial and museum along the way. Walks can also lead to the waterfalls on the Rio Poio, and Ribeira de Pena’s centre is a few kilometres away.
