About this venue
Schloss und Gutshof Britz is a historic ensemble in Berlin combining a former aristocratic manor house with an original farmstead. The site offers a range of distinct spaces for cultural events: a festival hall in the château, a concert hall in a restored cultural barn with excellent acoustics, an open-air summer stage on the grounds, a château terrace, and a pavilion in the park. The venue hosts concerts, theatre and readings across piano recitals, symphony orchestras, and chamber music. On site are the Paul Hindemith Music School, Museum Neukölln housed in a converted blacksmith's forge and former stable, and historical farm animals. The park, restored in 1985–1988, invites walks among its grounds. The site also offers dining: Schlossrestaurant Britz serves refined cuisine in historic stone vaults and on the terrace, while Restaurant Buchholz presents country house fare in a beautifully landscaped farmyard garden.
