Estalagem do Vale occupies a historic manor house whose past includes life as an inn, a school and, when the local community needed one, a hospital. It stands in the São Vicente valley on Madeira’s northern side, within the Laurissilva Forest, a World Heritage Site, with mountain and sea in the surrounding landscape. For company gatherings, the venue has banquet halls, a terrace, garden space and a tent, as well as a dance floor. A restaurant and bar are on site, alongside a pool that moves indoors in winter and outdoors in summer. The gardens and event spaces also host group celebrations and other occasions.
