Set on a peninsula on the northwest shore of Schliersee lake, the guest house comprises three buildings dating from around 1860 and from 2011, arranged to frame views of the lake and Alpine landscape. The main house retains the elegant style of the turn of the 19th century, with spacious rooms, most with balconies overlooking the lake. The modern Seehaus offers contemporary comfort with flatscreen television and internet access, all rooms with balcony or terrace. The Tannhaus accommodates larger families with comfortable double and single rooms. A lake terrace, garden park, private beach with boat dock and rowing boat complement the setting. Catering includes a generous breakfast, regional dishes and homemade cakes at lunch, and a four-course dinner menu in the evening. The location is about 45 minutes by car from Munich.
