Covelo - The Original Rooms and Suites sits in Amarante’s historic centre, within reach of the city’s culture, art, history and natural surroundings. Its family-led project shows in the adventurous architecture and decor, with each room individually styled. The broad sitting room has a fireplace, where guests may settle in with a glass of vinho verde and hear stories about the city. Breakfast is served across the street at historic Confeitaria Lai-Lai, on its flower-lined balcony above the Tâmega River. A courtyard at the property looks out over the city.
