Casa Lata pairs rural accommodation with a working winery, with a lounge and a games room with billiards and board games in the main house. Outdoors, there is a seasonal pool and green grounds. The estate sits in the Minho, between Braga and Peneda-Gerês National Park. Its past as a farming household remains visible in the granary, wine press, still and agricultural tools; a stone press survives in the games room and bar. Alongside these traces of the old farm, a modern cellar produces Terras de Amares wines from indigenous grape varieties of the Vinho Verde region. Guests can join a guided cellar visit and wine tasting, with guided walks and picnics among the other activities.
