Arrival at Casa da Música means stepping into a striking building designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas; a company event can end with a concert. Guided tours take in the architecture, which gives the venue its character as a setting for artistic and corporate gatherings. Event spaces include Sala Suggia, Sala 2, Cibermúsica, Sala VIP, the foyers, rehearsal rooms and other areas. They have sound, lighting and audiovisual equipment, with technical staff on hand throughout and teams supporting event organisation. On site, Restaurante Casa da Música, bars and Porto Blue Lounge give groups places to gather over food or a drink before leaving. The wider programme centres on concerts, orchestras and other musical events.
