Bellurgan Park is a Georgian country house in the townland of Bellurgan, a few kilometres north of Dundalk on the road towards the Cooley Peninsula. The main house dates from around 1790 and adjoins an older house built about half a century earlier; both were the work of the Tipping family, who held land here from the 17th century. Today the property is let as a whole, together with the apartments in the rear courtyard. Groups gather in a bright living room and around one long dining table, and the gardens and hot tub are there for slower evenings. Carlingford, the lough and the walking routes of Slieve Foy are a short drive away.
