Axis Viana is a contemporary city hotel for work trips and downtime, set between the river, the mountains and Viana do Castelo’s historic centre. Its modern architecture gives the hotel a distinct presence in this historic setting, while five meeting rooms provide space for group sessions. After a day’s work, Axis Wellness has a sauna, Turkish bath, thermodynamic pool, indoor and outdoor leisure pools, a relaxation area and a gym. The restaurant brings regional Portuguese cooking together with modern presentation, and stay packages can include dinner and a cocktail at the bar. The setting puts the river, mountain scenery and old town in close company.
