At the beginning of the Assenzio hotel in Prague was a careful reconstruction, in which renowned architects transformed this 19th-century palace into a modern hotel, managing to preserve the original exterior structure realized according to the traditional Prague architectural style.

Some interior patterns – for example, the travertine staircase, stuccoes decorating the corridor and the ground floor, the brick cellar – are representative dominants of this exceptional combination of ancient and modern architectural elements.
