The Alpage de la Peule, situated at an altitude of 2071 meters, has hosted a stable for over 160 years. Located in the Val Ferret, it became accessible to early hikers exploring the Tour du Mont Blanc, which is now renowned as one of Europe's most scenic long-distance trails. Over time, this location evolved into a gîte d'étape, accommodating hikers in comfortable dormitory-style rooms. Outside, a yurt provides additional space for visitors, while the guesthouse offers local raclette cheese in various preparations. Open from mid-June to mid-September during the alpine season, the site offers a blend of traditional mountain hospitality and scenic mountain views.
